Contract documents and strategy — M&A
Our standard

We know what a sale like this means to you.

We run a group of independent companies ourselves. Handing a company over to someone else is usually a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Unlike conventional M&A advisers, we offer you the invaluable advantage of hands-on practice, healthy realism and an honest, realistic assessment of the milestones that can be achieved — taking your opportunities and risks into account.

Because we regularly act as buyers, we quickly recognise the decisive value drivers of a company. Accordingly, we focus on the points that matter to buyers so that your company is positioned as well as possible.

Your advantage

Why an entrepreneur as your M&A partner?

Buy-side experience

We regularly sit on the buyer's side and know what counts. You save time and achieve a better result when you have sat on the other side of the table.

Network of trust

An extensive, active network of industry contacts, potential buyers and intermediaries — without dependencies or regional restrictions.

The big picture

Behind every number there is a story. In owner-managed businesses, private life is usually part of it — that cannot be neatly separated, and we do not pretend otherwise.

No one-size-fits-all

What is right for one business does not fit the next. We align the sales process with your goals, not with a checklist.

Practical experience

Pragmatic solutions based on real experience — measures that can actually be implemented and have a real chance of success, instead of theoretical concepts.

We have been there

We have built, bought and steered companies through tough phases ourselves. If someone has been through the same sleepless nights, you do not need to explain your worries to them.

Case study: company acquisition
Case study

On the other side of the negotiating table: our first company acquisition.

The purchase and takeover of Wirths & Werres GmbH in Wuppertal emerged as a first success story. The former owners had two options: close and liquidate the company — or sell it successfully.

Given the prospects shown for successful continuation and for preserving jobs as well as customer and supplier relationships, the shareholders decided to sell to Painit.

Shortly after negotiations began, employees were involved in the process and informed about the plans. This ensured a smooth handover and a high level of motivation — with a lasting increase in profitability and a reduction in risk.

Our motivation

Straight talk instead of small print.

We are committed to clear communication so that every phase of our advice is transparent and understandable for you. This includes price structures and terms. Hidden costs or harvesting contact details are not our idea of good cooperation.
